NICOMIL, MS is a systemic herbicide formulated as a suspension concentrate, developed by China Chemical Industrial and Research Co. Ltd. Its primary mechanism of action relies on nicosulfuron, a selective inhibitor of the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme. Once applied post-emergence, the active ingredient is rapidly absorbed through the foliage and translocated to the growing points, effectively halting cell division and nutrient uptake in target weeds within hours.

Designed specifically for maize crops, the herbicide demonstrates high selectivity, ensuring that the crop remains unaffected while controlling a wide spectrum of competitive weed species:

• Grasses: Common couch (Elymus repens), Barnyard grass, Yellow foxtail, Common wild oat.
