MECHANISM AND SPECTRUM OF ACTION:
MERPAN 80, W.G. is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide intended for protecting apple trees against scab (Venturia inaequalis), brown rot, grapevine from downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola), oidium (Uncinula necator Buril), black spot (Phomopsis viticola Sacc), infectious wilting (Sphaeropsis malorum Berk, Eutypa armeniaceae Hansf et Carter), gray rot (Botrytis cinerea Pers) and white rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum). The preparation is used for disease prevention as well as for effective treatment in the early stages of infection
The action of MERPAN 80, W.G. is based on three mechanisms that disrupt pathogen viability, leading to their death and preventing the development of resistance to the preparation.
MERPAN begins acting immediately after application with a protective period of up to two weeks depending on weather conditions. The first application is carried out upon the appearance of disease symptoms, subsequent sprays are applied at 7-14 day intervals
COMPATIBILITY:
Compatible with many insecticides and fungicides, such as prochloraz, metalaxyl, penconazole, mancozeb, oxadixyl, fosetyl aluminum, etc. The preparation is not compatible with alkaline substances (e.g., Bordeaux mixture) and mineral oils.
Recommended dosage of working solution: 1000-1500 L/ha
APPLICATION NOTES:
For optimal results, it is recommended to use a 0.15% concentration of Merpan 80, W.G. for spraying young orchards (or low-growing trees) at 1000 L/ha, and for larger trees, the water volume can be increased to 2000 L/ha with a product concentration of 0.15%
To prevent apple scab, the first application of MERPAN against overwintering spores is typically carried out during the 'green cone' stage. Depending on weather conditions and disease progression, subsequent applications of MERPAN are conducted at 7-14 day intervals, alternating with other fungicides
