Flexible application (independent of crop development stage)
Fungicide is resistant to rain wash-off within one hour after spraying
Has prolonged protective period (up to 6–8 weeks)
Non-phytotoxic
Multiple applications offset the cost of treatment
Ideal component for tank mixtures with contact fungicides such as strobilurins
«Plaza» forms a stable suspension in the prepared aqueous solution, ensuring excellent wetting and rapid absorption. Maximum effect is achieved when applied at the beginning of crop emergence and repeated for continued protective action — between flag leaf appearance and tillering initiation. Best results are obtained with two applications with a 3–4 week interval. It is important to prevent disease development to ensure plants remain healthy until the end of vegetation. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain; stop application at the first sign of rain. Uneven application on the plant causes uneven distribution of elements among organs and reduces efficacy.
Time for personnel to return to treated areas after mechanized work — 3 days; manual work — 7 days.
Maximum number of applications — 2.
Mode of action
«Plaza» is a universal systemic-contact fungicide with protective and curative action. Flutriafol rapidly penetrates the plant through leaves and moves acropetally from base to apex. Thus, it protects leaf parts not directly contacted by the solution and newly emerged young growth that appeared after treatment. Flutriafol blocks ergosterol synthesis, disrupts cell division, causing total pathogen death. Systemic and contact action is supplemented by fumigant effect.
Spectrum of activity
On cereals — yellow rust, leaf rust, Fusarium head blight, septoria, helminthosporium, powdery mildew, root rots;
on sugar beet — cercosporosis, rust, powdery mildew, fomosis.
Compatibility with other products
In tank mixtures, herbicide is compatible with most pesticides. However, compatibility must be checked for each specific case.
WHO classification: Class III (moderately hazardous).
