Securing Winter Barley: Operational Experience with "Zhivosil"

When preparing winter barley seeds, choosing a seed treatment is critical to establishing a healthy stand. "Zhivosil" by "Presens" is a systemic fungicide that we rely on to control pathogens capable of destroying a crop at the seedling stage. Its efficacy is based on tebuconazole, a member of the triazole group, which penetrates the seed coat to provide internal protection against seed-borne and soil-borne diseases.

Operational Performance and Application

The product comes as a flowable suspension concentrate, which is a significant advantage for logistics and machinery maintenance. It mixes easily in the tank, does not clog sprayer nozzles, and distributes evenly over the seed surface, forming a persistent protective barrier. From a practical standpoint, we value the following:
