Mechanism of action
The active ingredient, tebuconazole, suppresses the formation of cell membranes in
pathogenic fungi, leading to pathogen death and enabling healthy, uniform seedlings
even at high infection levels. Due to its systemic action, the product can fully stop
infection development both on the surface and inside the grain at low application
rates.
Properties
Dixil ULTRA belongs to the most effective fungicides against scab diseases in
wheat, barley, and other cereal crops. Protects against seed and seedling diseases
(root rots, spot diseases, septoria) and has a secondary effect on powdery mildew
(under early disease onset). Dixil ULTRA does not negatively affect field germination and
seed vigor.
The product is ready for use on all types of seed treatment machinery. Improved formulation,
increased active ingredient content, red dye for better quality control, and a film-forming
agent to protect seeds from micro-damage ensure uniform and complete
coating of the grain surface. On winter crops, Dixil ULTRA allows not only to protect seedlings,
but also to omit fungicide applications during the vegetative period.
General recommendations
Before application, thoroughly mix the contents of the Dixil ULTRA container. Apply
the seed treatment diluted in water at 10 liters of working solution per 1 ton of seeds.
Seeds to be treated must be clean of dust and impurities, which could absorb significant amounts
of the product and reduce its effectiveness. Uniform coating of seeds with the working
solution film is mandatory.
