Systemic combined fungicide for protecting agricultural crops during the vegetation period
Active ingredients: propiconazole, 250 g/l; cyproconazole, 80 g/l
Manufacturer: Peters & Burg Ltd, Hungary
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Packaging unit: 5 L canister
Mode of action of the preparation
The preparation is absorbed by the above-ground parts of plants and rapidly moves acropetally through the xylem. The active substances disrupt the synthesis of ergosterol in the membranes of phytopathogen cells. As a result, the membranes of phytopathogen cells lose their biological and mechanical properties. The growth and development of the fungus is inhibited, and subsequently, the phytopathogen itself dies.
Recommendations for application
The preparation is applied by ground spraying during the vegetation period of crops as a preventive measure, when conditions favor disease development and spread, or upon the appearance of the first visible signs of plant infection.
Maximum efficacy of the preparation is observed when applied at the initial stages of crop infection — the appearance of the first isolated symptoms of infection.
Rate of working solution application. The rate of working solution application is 200-300 L / ha.
To combat diseases of the ear, the preparation should be applied at a rate of 0.5 L/ha.
Workers performing mechanized operations may resume work 3 days after application; for manual work — 7 days.
Crop development stage
The preparation is applied during the period from the tillering stage to the flowering stage of crops.
Timing of application
Maximum efficacy of the preparation is observed when the application timing coincides with the natural infection period of crops by the pathogen against which the treatments are planned.
Powdery mildew. Treatment is usually carried out during the tillering stage — emergence of crop plants from the soil.
Leaf and stem spots, rust. Treatment should be carried out from the appearance of the flag leaf until the heading stage.
Septoria of the ear. Treatment should be carried out during the heading stage.
Alternaria and Fusarium of the ear, cladosporiosis. Treatment is recommended before the flowering stage of crops.
Weather conditions
Spraying is recommended in the morning or evening. The optimal air temperature during application is +12… +16°C. The wind speed during application should not exceed 3-4 m/s. Rainfall within 2 hours after application does not affect the efficacy of the preparation.
Compatibility with other preparations
The preparation is compatible with the majority of pesticides and agrochemicals. However, in each individual case, a preliminary compatibility test of the tank mixture components is required.
Preparation of the working solution
Fill the sprayer tank with water to 1/3 of its volume, activate the mixing mode, and add the required amount of preparation. Fill the sprayer tank with water to full capacity while the mixing mode is active. The mixing mode must be activated during application to maintain the working solution in a homogeneous state.
Precautions
To combat ear diseases, the preparation should be applied at a rate of 0.5 L/ha.
Do not apply the preparation when crops are under stress (water deficit, low air temperatures, frost, pest infestations), as this may reduce the efficacy of the preparation against the pathogen.
Do not apply the preparation during fog or dew, as this may cause the working solution to run off the plant surfaces and reduce the efficacy of the preparation.
Do not feed treated plants' green mass or straw to livestock for 21 days after application.
