Grinfort Super is a systemic fungicide engineered to provide robust protection through the synergistic combination of two potent active ingredients: propiconazole (250 g/L) and cyproconazole (80 g/L). By targeting the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, this formulation effectively arrests pathogen development.

Technical Breakdown of Active Ingredients

• Propiconazole: Acts as a fast-acting systemic agent that penetrates plant tissues rapidly, offering excellent curative and protective properties against a wide range of pathogens.
• Cyproconazole: Highly mobile within the plant (acropetal translocation), this component is crucial for protecting new growth and is particularly effective against rust diseases and powdery mildew.

The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation ensures that the active molecules are evenly distributed and readily absorbed by the plant surface, maintaining stability even under variable environmental conditions.

As a Category 2 hazard product, strict adherence to label requirements is necessary. The recommended application rate is 0.4–0.5 L/ha, with a maximum of two treatments per season. To ensure crop safety and remove residues, a pre-harvest interval of 30 days must be observed before harvesting.
