Advantages
exceeds most seed treatments in spectrum of action due to combination of two active ingredients;
provides high fungicidal activity, including against helminthosporiosis and fusarium root rots, powdery mildew, seed mold, septoria and others;
provides prolonged protective effect from seed germination until the emergence of the coleoptile and flag leaf;
stimulates coleoptile development and formation of a strong root system;
increases drought and frost resistance;
prevents loss of the product during transportation and sowing;
maintains stability of the working solution for an unlimited period;
presence of imazalil reduces the likelihood of resistance development.
Formulation
Microemulsion containing 100 g/l imazalil + 60 g/l tebuconazole
Mode of Action
The product contains two active ingredients — imazalil and tebuconazole.
Imazalil has local-systemic action, protecting roots. The action of imazalil is based on inhibition of ergosterol synthesis, affecting the permeability of pathogen cell membranes.
Tebuconazole has systemic-translocation action, protecting seedlings. The action of tebuconazole is based on inhibition of sterol biosynthesis by pathogens, which leads to changes in the membrane (its permeability), reduced reproduction and, ultimately, death of the pathogenic cell.
Period of Protective Effect
Biological effect lasts throughout the period from seed germination until the emergence of the coleoptile and flag leaf. Due to systemic action, the product is effective against surface and internal seed infections, as well as against a number of pathogens affecting plants in later vegetation stages.
Speed of Action
High. Fungicidal effect is observed within 2-4 hours after treatment (drying time).
Spectrum of Action
Alternaria blight, ascochytosis, white rot (root rot form), brown rust, helminthosporiosis root rot, fusarium root rot, rizoctonia root rot, stone rot, blister rust, powdery rust, false powdery rust, stem rust, hard rust, root rots, powdery mildew, peronosporosis, seed mold, ear mold, gray rot (seed infection), netted spotting, fomopsis, fusarium, fusarium snow mold and others.
Compatibility
Effective when used alone.
Potential for Resistance Development
When recommended dosage and application technology are followed, development of resistance in pathogens is extremely unlikely.
Application Technology. Preparation of Working Solution
Prepare the working solution immediately before seed treatment.
Fill the tank with water and, while continuously stirring, pour the required amount of the product into the tank.
Seed treatment is recommended to be carried out using seed treatment machines of type PS-10, «Mobotoks» or similar machines designed for liquid formulations.
Phytotoxicity
The product is not phytotoxic at recommended application rates.
Recommendations for Protection of Beneficial Flora and Fauna
Due to its application method, the product is not hazardous to bees and poses low risk to fish — 3rd class hazard.
The product may be applied in sanitary zones of fishery water bodies.
Do not use treated seeds for animal feed.
Transportation and Storage Conditions
Follow all standard rules for transporting toxic substances. Store the product in a designated pesticide storage area. Storage temperature range from -10°C to +30°C. Before use, the product should be mixed.
Shelf Life
2 years.
Hazard Class
2nd class hazard, highly hazardous substance.
