Technological edge: The Oil-in-Water Emulsion

The core advantage of 'Scarlet ME' lies in its formulation — an oil-in-water emulsion (ME). Unlike standard emulsifiable concentrates, the ME formulation creates a more durable and elastic coating on the seed surface. This is a critical factor for winter and spring cereals: the product does not flake off during mechanical handling or hopper filling and maintains stability despite soil moisture fluctuations.

Synergy of Active Ingredients

The composition combines two potent agents: imidazoles (including imazalil) and tebuconazole. This combination provides a multifaceted defense:

• Imazalil effectively suppresses deep-seated seed infections and guards against root rots that are difficult to reach with contact fungicides.
• Tebuconazole provides systemic action, penetrating the embryo and young sprout tissues, curbing the development of net blotch and septoria at early stages.

The systemic activity ensures protection not only for the grain itself but also for the primary root system during the germination phase, when the plant is most vulnerable to soil-borne pathogens like Fusarium and Helminthosporium root rots.

Field Application Insights

The application rate is 0.3–0.4 L/t, ensuring uniform coverage of the seed material in a single treatment. The oil-based ME carrier enhances adhesion, reducing product loss during the dressing process. When applied within recommended dosages, the product displays high crop safety, promoting even and healthy emergence even under conditions of early sowing in cooler temperatures.
