Binary systemic-contact universal fungicidal seed treatment for protecting cereal seeds from a broad spectrum of fungal pathogens.
Formulation and active ingredients:
Water-suspension concentrate containing carbendazim, 170 g/l and thiophanate-methyl, 170 g/l.
Chemical class:
Anilides and dithiocarbamates.
Packaging:
Drums of 10 liters.
Duration of protective effect:
From 6 to 8 weeks.
Mode of action:
Stirax suppresses the development of phytopathogens located both on the seed surface and within. Due to its mobility to growth points, the product protects seedlings and root systems from soil-borne pathogens. The systemic active ingredient carbendazim exhibits high fungicidal activity against pathogens causing root diseases, by actively blocking the mitochondrial enzyme complex of phytopathogenic fungi. The contact active ingredient thiophanate-methyl demonstrates high efficacy in controlling development of mold and rot pathogens, including seed, root, and stem rots.
Properties and advantages:
Due to its combined action, protects seeds, seedlings, and plants from a broad spectrum of diseases that remain within seeds, on seeds, and in soil;
Controls root rots caused by Helminthosporium and Fusarium, seed mold;
Enhances germination energy and seed viability;
Stimulates seed germination and early seedling growth;
Promotes improved stem formation and healthy root development;
Contains an effective sticking agent and bright colorant.
WHO classification, toxicological characteristics:
Class III (moderately toxic).
Shelf life and storage conditions:
Three years in sealed factory packaging at temperatures from + ºC to +35 ºC.
