Description

Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Minusinsk Experimental Station for Horticulture and Vegetable Cultivation by pollinating the 'Sinyaya' variety with pollen from the 'Minusinka', 'Nadezhda', and 'Khasanovets' varieties. Authors: V.F. Cherkashin, E.P. Kuminov. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the East Siberian Region in 1993.

Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-density bush. Non-hardened shoots are medium, straight, light-green, hairy; hardened shoots are medium thickness, straight, light-brown, hairy, matte. Buds are medium-sized, egg-shaped with a pointed apex, light-green with weak anthocyanic coloration, moderately hairy, deviated, solitary, leaf scar shape rounded-ovate.

Leaves are three-lobed, medium-sized, green, matte, bare, wrinkled, herbaceous, blade positioned horizontally, flat. Lobes are pointed, central lobe longer than lateral ones, with projections. Lateral lobes are medium length, apexes sharp, directed sideways, angle between lateral lobe veins acute. Leaf base has a medium, open notch. Teeth are small, apexes of teeth have a 'claw' shape, veins are not colored. Leaf petiole is long, medium, hairless, light-green with anthocyanin, positioned on the shoot at an acute angle.

Flowers are medium-sized, calyx lobes light-pink, loosely arranged. Inflorescences are medium, medium density, medium thickness. Axis is medium, petiole short, hairless.

Berries are large (1.2-1.5 g), oval, nearly black, with a bluish bloom, with a moist detachment, with numerous small seeds, thin skin. Receptacle is closed, small, non-detaching, pedicel short, brown-green, hairless. Taste is sour-sweet (4.8 points). Berries are of universal use. Chemical composition: soluble dry matter — 14.0%, total sugars — 5.6%, titratable acidity — 2.3%, ascorbic acid — 169.0 mg/100 g.

Highly winter-hardy, moderately drought-tolerant, with good self-fertility (up to 37%), heat-tolerant, resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, septoria, and bud mite, average yield 5.3 t/ha (1.4 kg/plant).

Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, early fruiting, high annual yield, comprehensive resistance to major pests and diseases, improved berry transportability, high technological quality of berries, high shoot-forming capacity.

Disadvantages of the variety: spreading bush habit, requires increased pruning costs, moist berry detachment.
