Description
Mid-early maturing variety, obtained at VSTISP by pollinating the Compact variety with pollen mix of Lya Plododorodnaya, Goliath, Kent. Developed by V.M. Litvinova. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Northwestern, Central, Volgo-Vyat, and West Siberian regions in 1986.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-density bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, green with pinkish tips, hairy, woody — thick, slightly tapering towards the top, light-brown. Buds small, egg-shaped, pinkish-red, pointed, hairless, deviated from the shoot, solitary, apical — free, leaf scar shape wedge-shaped.
Leaf five-lobed, medium size, green with grayish tinge, slightly wrinkled, matte, leathery, slightly folded along main veins. Central lobe narrow, longer than lateral ones, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes elongated, narrow, angle between their veins straight. Basal lobes poorly developed. Base with medium or small, rounded notch. Teeth small, petiole medium length and thickness, hairless, green.
Flowers large, cup-shaped, calyx lobes pinkish, slightly curled, touching each other. Inflorescence medium (5-7 cm), with short pedicel, medium density, axis medium thickness, hairless, pedicel medium length, green, hairless.
Berries large (average weight 1.2 g, maximum — 2.3 g), round, black, dry detachable, tart-sweet taste (4.2 points), universal use. Calyx medium, half-closed, falls off. Chemical composition: total sugar — 7.5%, titratable acidity — 0.2%, ascorbic acid — 160.0 mg/100 g.
Cold-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to bud mite, but susceptible to powdery mildew, average yield 12.5 t/ha (4 kg/plant).
