Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Kokin Experimental Station
Developed by crossing the varieties Lentyay and Yadrnaya. Authors: I.V. Kazakov, F.F. Sazonov. Tested in state variety trials since 2007.
Medium-height, loosely branched, moderately dense bush. Mature branches are medium, straight, yellow-brown, glabrous, shiny.
Leaves are three-lobed, medium-sized, dark green, with wrinkled, shiny, glabrous blades. Lobes are pointed with small notches; the angle between veins of side lobes is straight. Leaf base is convex. Teeth are short, blunt, not curled.
Flowers are medium-sized, pale yellow; sepals are medium-sized, curled upward, glabrous. Inflorescence is very long (10-12 cm, 10-12 berries), dense, with medium, straight, glabrous axis.
Berries are very large (average weight 1.8 g, maximum 4.8 g), round, black, shiny, with dry, easy detachment, transportable, versatile use. Pedicel is medium-sized, green, thin. Taste is sour-sweet, refreshing, with medium seed content. Chemical composition: dry matter — 13.0%, total sugars — 3.1%, titratable acidity — 2.7%, ascorbic acid — 204.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to major diseases and pests, average yield up to 12.0 t/ha (2.8-3.0 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: high productivity, high berry quality indicators (dry detachment, uniform ripening, high ascorbic acid content).
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient resistance to bud mite.
