Maize RV 590 C

RV 590 C — early hybrid of super-sweet corn type Sh2 with a vegetation period of 65 to 75 days. This hybrid is intended for both processing and fresh market sales, grown in open ground. The plant reaches a height of 150-180 cm, with the first ear forming at about 35 cm. Cylindrical ears, 21-22 cm long and about 5 cm in diameter, have 16-18 evenly spaced rows of kernels, predominantly golden with white speckles. The kernels have a tender texture and high sugar content — up to 28%, which remains even after thermal processing. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, allowing two ears per plant, significantly enhancing cultivation efficiency. The ears are fully filled with kernels to the tip, indicating high quality and marketable product. Due to its taste qualities, the kernels cook quickly and have excellent flavor, making RV 590 C popular both for fresh consumption and processing. RV 590 C is resistant to major diseases and pests, ensuring stable yields and reducing crop protection costs. The uniform height of plants and simultaneous development phases simplify agricultural practices and harvesting. This hybrid is the optimal choice for farmers seeking high-quality, high-yield super-sweet corn.
