POLESSKIY 101 SV is an early-maturing, simple inter-row hybrid corn, intended for cultivation as grain or silage. It features medium plant height, medium-wide leaves, and a cylindrical ear of medium length with a thin stalk. The grain is a silicified type with an orange coloration on the upper and lower parts, providing an attractive appearance and high product quality. Early tassel flowering and the start of grain filling contribute to successful maturation even under adverse climatic conditions, making the hybrid versatile and reliable for various regions.

The hybrid is included in the State Register for the Central, Central Chernozem, and Volga regions, where it demonstrates high yields. Average grain yield is 92.4 c/ha in the Central region, 76.4 c/ha in the Central Chernozem, and 70.9 c/ha in the Volga region. At harvest, grain moisture is at 20.5–27.8 %, facilitating storage and processing. The vegetative period varies from 109 to 134 days depending on the region, corresponding to the early-maturing type and allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities.

POLESSKIY 101 SV exhibits high plasticity and the ability to provide stable fodder and grain productivity even on poor loamy and sandy soils. When grown for silage, average dry matter yield reaches 208 c/ha, confirming its versatility and efficiency. The hybrid is recommended for silage cultivation throughout the territory, and for grain cultivation in areas with a sum of effective temperatures above 8500C, making it an optimal choice for diverse agroclimatic conditions.
