Maize KM 4100

Stability in the field with Geneks Ukraina

When selecting seed material for a grain-focused operation, every agronomist seeks a balance between predictable yields and potential. The KM 4100 hybrid from the Ukrainian breeder 'Geneks Ukraina' is designed for those prioritizing commodity grain with minimal risks during the harvest season.

Operational performance in the field

A producer's primary concern is how the crop behaves across various soil types. The KM 4100 demonstrates high adaptability, which is crucial given current climate fluctuations. In practice, this translates into:

• Uniform germination, simplifying chemical weed control and maintenance.
• High moisture release rates, significantly reducing post-harvest drying costs.
• Strong stalk integrity: ensuring minimal header losses during mechanical harvesting.

From an operator's perspective, this hybrid is responsive to intensive technology but does not require excessive fungicidal investment, thanks to its robust genetic resistance. This efficiency significantly lowers the cost of production per ton.

Economic performance

Grain production is all about the numbers. KM 4100, developed by originators Oleksii Oleksiiovych Shabatko and Vitalii IUriiovych Karunnyi, delivers excellent grain test weight. When sown at the manufacturer’s recommended density, it produces a well-filled cob with high density. This is a clear case of Ukrainian breeding competing with global brands without the burden of excessive logistics or royalty costs.

For agronomists who prioritize streamlined planning, this hybrid is a reliable partner. Its morphotype allows for a stress-free harvesting schedule, ensuring quality grain is brought in at the optimal time.
