Ditmarsh Fruer cabbage is an early-maturing variety that reaches technical maturity within 90-100 days after germination. This variety is characterized by high and stable yield, forming round heads weighing between 0.8 and 2.5 kg. The leaves are light green, juicy, crisp, and closely adhere to each other, while the upper leaves have a dark green hue with a waxy coating and serrated edges. The heads have medium density and a small core, making them convenient for long-distance transportation without loss of quality.

Ditmarsh Fruer exhibits high resistance to adverse weather conditions, including temperature fluctuations, frost, and soil and air drought. The variety is practically immune to diseases such as clubroot and bacterial blight, significantly simplifying crop care. For successful cultivation, infrequent but abundant watering is recommended. Due to its adaptability, cabbage grows well both in polytunnels and in open ground, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.
