The preparation Viriin-NSh w.r. is a water solution containing polyhedra of the nuclear polyhedrosis virus of the non-venomous silkworm with a titer of 1x10^9 polyhedra per milliliter. This biological preparation is intended for use in forest protection. The preparation is manufactured by the company DSLP 'Kharkivlisozahyst' in Ukraine. It is used to protect coniferous and deciduous forests from pests caused by the nuclear polyhedrosis virus of the non-venomous silkworm. It can be used as part of an integrated pest management program in forestry.
