The BIOPOLOCID preparation is a gel containing a strain of bacteria of the genus Paenibacillus polychroma in an amount of 0.5 to 1.0 billion cells per cubic centimeter. This bio-preparation was developed by the Southern Research Station of the Institute of Agricultural Microbiology of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. The preparation is used in various areas of agricultural production. It is suitable for use on cereal crops, leguminous and vegetable crops, both in open and closed ground, including plants intended for retail sale to the public. The preparation can be used as a means to combat various pests and plant diseases through the action of its active components. Its application contributes to increasing the resistance of plants to diseases and improves the overall condition of the crop.
