The «Guapsin» bio-fungicide, manufactured by Zakhyst-Agro, is formulated as a liquid suspension containing active Pseudomonas aureofaciens bacterial strains. Unlike synthetic chemicals that rely on lethal toxicity, Guapsin functions through competitive exclusion. Once applied, these bacteria colonize the plant's phyllosphere and rhizosphere, creating a protective biological barrier that prevents the germination and mycelial expansion of pathogenic fungi.
