E5 Borozan almond variety – a domestic product developed in a specialized nursery. Seedlings have undergone field trials and qualification procedures, confirming their high resistance to climatic conditions and diseases. Consequently, this variety is suitable for a wide range of agro-technical practices and ensures a stable yield.
E5 Borozan almond is characterized by large fruits: each nut in its shell weighs 7–8 grams, making it attractive for both industrial production and the consumer market. The fruit has a rich taste and high content of useful substances, which is confirmed by tasting research results.
For successful cultivation of the variety, it is recommended to carry out preventive measures: treat young seedlings with fungicidal preparations twice a year – in spring and autumn. After fruiting begins, sanitary pruning should be performed to maintain tree health and improve fruit quality. The variety begins to bear fruit already in the fourth–fifth year, and a full harvest is achieved by the sixth–seventh year after planting.
