Ukraine Opens 29 New Export Markets: What Farmers Will Be Able to Sell

Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine has successfully agreed upon 29 new export destinations for its agricultural products to 13 countries and the European Union. This represents the largest annual figure recorded since at least 2022, significantly broadening the geographical reach for domestic producers.

According to the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, these new opportunities cover the supply of flour, eggs, dairy products, meat, animal feed, and other high-value-added goods.

The new approvals span markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Specifically, Ukraine has secured approval to export flour to China, egg products to Vietnam and Egypt, and milk and dairy products to Chile.

Furthermore, new pathways have been established for livestock and meat exports. Ukraine received clearance to supply cattle for slaughter, fattening, and breeding to Algeria, sheep for slaughter to Egypt, and beef and beef products to Iraq, Georgia, and Côte d'Ivoire. Table eggs and fish products can now be shipped to Egypt, while poultry meat is cleared for Côte d'Ivoire.

Specific approvals were also granted within the animal feed sector. Domestic companies will be able to supply pet food to Egypt and the Republic of Korea, processed feed to Albania, and plant-based feed to Georgia. These developments provide Ukrainian agricultural producers with enhanced diversification and new growth prospects.
