Government Extends Concessional Crediting for Agricultural Producers Under '5-7-9%' Program Until August 31, 2027
The state program 'Affordable Loans 5-7-9%' remains one of the key financial support instruments for Ukraine's agricultural sector amid ongoing economic challenges. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to official data from the ministry, since the beginning of the current year, agricultural producers have actively utilized credit offers and attracted 132 billion UAH in loans, which is 34 billion UAH more than during the same period last year.
Out of the total financing volume, 55 billion UAH came through the '5-7-9%' program, exceeding last year's figure by 12 billion UAH. An additional 28 billion UAH in credit funds was secured with the support of state portfolio guarantees.
The ministry also highlighted the financial momentum since August, following the expansion of concessional loan uses for replenishing working capital. Since then, farmers have additionally secured 37 billion UAH in funding.
Recognizing the program's vital importance, the government decided to extend concessional crediting for agricultural producers until August 31, 2027. Additionally, amendments to the state portfolio guarantee mechanism now enable borrowers who previously had overdue payments on earlier loans or state guarantees, but have already fully settled their debt, to receive support.
