Farmers have days left: deadline for two AIPA investment funding calls is October 30
Farmers have just a few days left to apply for financial support aimed at developing agricultural activities and modernizing rural businesses. The application deadline for two key funding calls organized by the Intervention and Payments Agency for Agriculture (AIPA) expires on October 30.
The first measure, designated as DR-09, is designed to support young and beginning farmers. Under this program, applicants can receive funding covering up to 70% of eligible costs, within limits tailored to specific agricultural sectors. Financial support can reach up to 3 million lei for investments in cattle farming, 2 million lei for crop production, and 1.5 million lei for other eligible livestock sectors.
To qualify for this funding, young farmers must be between 18 and 40 years old, serve as founders and sole managers of an agricultural enterprise in a rural area, and possess the necessary professional competencies. New farmers also include micro and small enterprises registered no more than 24 months prior, whose managers possess business management skills.
Another opportunity is provided under the DR-10 program, which targets small farmers and family farms in rural areas. This funding covers up to 60% of eligible expenses, with dedicated favorable conditions for young farmers and women in agriculture who meet the requirements.
AIPA encourages all eligible agricultural producers to finalize and submit their application files before the established deadline to secure state investment support for their agricultural enterprises.
