Males are extremely rare, as this species reproduces primarily through parthenogenesis. The adult female typically measures 3–5 millimeters in length, with an oval or slightly elongated body shape.
The larvae, often referred to as 'crawlers,' have flat bodies and well-developed legs, enabling them to actively navigate the plant to find the most suitable feeding location.
For accurate identification, a magnifying glass is recommended, as early-stage infestations of small crawlers can be easily overlooked due to their size and cryptic coloration.
What it damages
