Vialka

Vialka is an early blueberry honeysuckle variety with high yield and excellent frost resistance up to -45 °C. The bush is of medium height (1.3–1.5 m) with a dense, rounded crown, without thorns, which facilitates care and fruit harvesting. Fruiting begins as early as the 2nd–3rd year after planting, and the ripening period is early June, allowing the berries to be used both fresh and for processing.

Vialka berries are of medium size (length 2–2.8 cm, mass 1.1–1.5 g) with a blue-light blue skin with a waxy bloom. The pulp is tender and aromatic, with a taste that is sour-sweet, rich in vitamins and trace elements. Thanks to this, the berries are suitable for making jam, compotes, juices, smoothies, ice cream, yogurts, and even wine. They can be dried or frozen, preserving their nutritional properties.

The variety is distinguished by its low demand for soil: it grows both in the sun and in partial shade, coexists well with other crops, is not prone to diseases, and is easy to adapt. The root system is closed, which ensures the plant's stability to drought and frost. Saplings are usually planted from spring to autumn (excluding May-June), and the distance between bushes is 1–2 m. To accelerate adaptation, the roots can be dipped in a stimulant solution. Vialka is suitable for cultivation in practically all regions of the country, thanks to its versatility and high productivity.
