Tomato JUSTICA

Technological potential of the Yustika hybrid

The Yustika tomato from Enza Zaden (Энза Семена) is an example of a highly specialized approach to professional greenhouse vegetable growing. The key value of this hybrid lies not only in the commercial characteristics of the fruit but also in its verified genetic resistance package.

Phytosanitary barrier: Resistance to ToBRFV

The main challenge of modern production is the Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV). Yustika possesses built-in protection that is critical for minimizing losses in intensive cultivation. In addition, the plant effectively suppresses threats from soil-borne and foliar pathogens: Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, and Cladosporium (leaf mold). This reduces pesticide load and the need for chemical fungicides.

Physical properties of the fruit

With a weight of 100–150 grams and a classic round shape, Yustika fruits demonstrate high uniformity. The breeding was focused on ensuring skin strength and flesh density, which is crucial for logistics. The intense red color is achieved naturally, without the risk of cracking during temperature fluctuations, a common issue in less advanced varieties.

Practical value for agricultural businesses

Using seed material from Enza Zaden guarantees predictable germination and uniform bush development. This allows agronomists to plan the harvest schedule with precision. The stability of fruit size simplifies sorting and packaging, reducing the cost per unit. Yustika is a robust tool for those who prioritize profitability and biological risk mitigation.
