Tomato SWEET LITTLE ONE

Practical cultivation experience: what to expect from 'Sladkiy Malysh'

When choosing seeds for professional or amateur vegetable growing, consistency is key. The indeterminate tomato 'Sladkiy Malysh' by 'Evro-Semena' is a choice for those focused on high-quality cherry production.

Agrotechnics and predictability

The indeterminate growth type requires discipline from the agronomist: pruning and staking are mandatory, as the plant continues to grow throughout the season. However, this labor pays off with yields reaching 70-100 tons per hectare when planting patterns are followed. The maturation period of up to 90 days allows for quick harvesting even in short summer conditions.

Storage and logistics

The 20-40 gram fruits hold their shape perfectly. The ability to store them for over 30 days without losing their market appearance is a deciding factor for retail. The plum-like shape simplifies packaging, and the firm skin minimizes losses during transport. The available red and yellow colors allow for attractive shelf mixes.

Care Tips

• Control greenhouse humidity: excess water can lead to cracking due to the delicate skin structure.
• Balanced nutrition: since the plant produces a large fruit mass, the need for potassium-based fertilizers increases after active fruiting begins.
• Protection: the variety shows good resistance, but standard late blight prevention is necessary, as with any indeterminate hybrid.

If you need a reliable 'workhorse' variety that delivers predictable results and stores well, 'Sladkiy Malysh' justifies every penny invested in the seeds.
