FIFA

FIFA is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid cherry tomato characterized by a generative plant type with moderate growth vigor and weak leafiness. From the emergence of full seedlings to the start of ripening, it takes approximately 100 days. The first flower cluster forms above the seventh leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every one to two leaves. Clusters can be simple or semi-compound, with an average of 8 to 12 or more uniformly arranged, attractive, and high-quality fruits.

The fruits of the FIFA tomato have a bright red color and an inverted egg shape with a neat tip. They are two-chambered, dense, with a tough skin, and weigh between 60 to 80 grams. The flavor qualities of the fruits are excellent, making them versatile for various uses. The tomatoes are suitable for long-term storage and transportation, which is an important advantage for commercial cultivation.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), fusarium (Fol), verticillium (Va, Vd), alternaria (Asc), tomato leaf curl virus (TYLCV), and it is tolerant to late blight (Pi). The recommended planting density is 3–4 plants per square meter, and pruning should be to one or two stems. The yield of the hybrid reaches 20–25 kg per square meter, making it attractive for cultivation under various climatic conditions.
