Carmelita

Tomato Carmelita F1 is a tall indeterminate plant reaching a height of 1.8 to 2.1 meters. This ultra-early variety matures in 90-95 days and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including polyethylene greenhouses. It is recommended to train the plant as a single stem and plant 3-4 plants per square meter for optimal yield.

The fruits of tomato Carmelita are round, smooth, with 3-4 chambers, have thick flesh and inter-chamber walls. In the technical stage of ripeness, they have an olive hue, and in the biological stage — a dark red color. Fruit weight varies from 150 to 200 grams, usually 5-6 fruits per cluster. Tomatoes are characterized by uniform shape and size, high density, which ensures excellent storability and resistance to cracking. Due to these qualities, the fruits withstand prolonged transportation without losses.

The variety is characterized by high yield — 16 to 19 kg per square meter in open ground and 15-18 kg in greenhouses. Carmelita possesses comprehensive resistance to major tomato diseases, such as verticillium wilt, stem rot, alternaria, fusarium, and bacterial disease. The plant demonstrates early and abundant fruiting, excellent taste qualities, and resistance to stress conditions during cultivation. For successful cultivation, regular watering, weed removal, and fertilization are recommended.
