F1 Imitator TmC5F2 — (registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation since 2006, approved for use in Russia) has a medium maturity period (107–110 days from germination to flowering). Recommended for cultivation in winter-spring and extended winter glasshouse rotations using low-volume hydroponics technology, but also shows excellent performance in film-covered heated and unheated greenhouses. The F1 Imitator hybrid exhibits good fruit set on early flower clusters when planted early in the winter-spring rotation under insufficient light conditions. The hybrid’s productivity remains stable even with changes in growing conditions. Plants have an indeterminate growth habit. The hybrid features shortened internodes, which allows efficient use of greenhouse volume, reduces the frequency of plant pinching during extended rotations, and enables cultivation of the F1 Imitator hybrid in low glasshouse and film greenhouses. The plant habit is open and well-ventilated, facilitating care and reducing the risk of gray mold infection. Planting density: 2.3–2.5 plants/m2. Leaves range from green to light green, strongly lobed with small lobes, drooping. The average leaf length on the plant is 38.4 cm. Fruit set is regulated on the first 4–5 flower clusters, leaving 4–5 fruits on the first cluster and no more than 6–7 on the others. The first flower cluster appears above the 10th–11th leaf, subsequent clusters appear every 3 leaves. The flower cluster is simple, elongated, with 8–10 fruits of nearly equal size. The flower cluster axis is sufficiently long, but usually does not form bends. Fruit color is uniformly green before ripening, becoming bright red upon ripening. The fruit has an attractive pepper-shaped (banana-shaped) form, 2–3-chambered, without a central constriction, smooth surface without bumps, weighing 95–120 g. Fruits maintain their market quality for 15–20 days after harvest, withstand long-distance transport well, and do not crack even when daytime and nighttime air temperature gradients exceed 10 °C. Taste qualities are excellent. F1 Imitator is practically immune to blossom end rot and genetically resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium.
