Description Debut
Debut is a winter rape hybrid developed by breeders of VNIIMK. It represents a high-yielding and adaptable crop belonging to the medium-early maturity group. This hybrid is characterized by a potential yield of 56 c/ha and an oil content of 48%, ensuring high efficiency in the production of oilseed raw materials. Additionally, Debut seeds contain an increased amount of protein—24%, which is an important quality indicator.

Debut is distinguished by its resistance to a wide range of diseases, including fusarium, alternaria, peronosporosis, and phoma, as well as high resistance to shattering and lodging, which contributes to crop preservation and reduced losses during harvest. The mass of 1000 seeds varies within the range of 4.8-5.1 grams, while glucosinolate content is 20—23 micromoles/g, indicating a balanced chemical composition and safety of use.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Central Black Earth, and North Caucasian Federal Districts. In addition to high yield and oil content, Debut provides a significant green mass yield—up to 72 tons per hectare, which expands its application possibilities in agro-technologies and contributes to increasing overall production profitability.
