SIBNIIC 21

SIBNIIC 21 is a spring rape variety (Brassica napus var. napus) included in the State Register of Varieties for the West Siberia region. It is characterized by medium maturity and a vegetation period of about 100 days. The plant is of medium height with green leaves without anthocyanin and pods without a beak. The variety is resistant to lodging, which ensures reliability during cultivation and allows for mechanized harvesting.

SIBNIIC 21 is distinguished by stable medium yield, which is about 8.0 c/ha in the West Siberia region, while in other regions, for example, the North-West, the yield may vary. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 4.1 g. The seeds contain a high level of fat — from 36.6 to 40.7%, which makes the variety attractive for oilseed production. Additionally, the seeds contain about 81% physiologically valuable oleic and linoleic fatty acids, which increases their nutritional and technological value.

The variety is recommended not only for obtaining oilseeds but also for use as green fodder. It has a low content of glucosinolates, which improves the quality of the feed base. Thanks to high resistance to lodging and adaptability to various growing conditions, SIBNIIC 21 is a reliable choice for agrarians seeking stable and quality yields.
