SIBIRSKY

SIBIRSKY is a type 00 spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) variety characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content, making it safe and effective for feed and grain use. The variety was bred through complex hybridization and subsequent selection, ensuring high adaptation to local climatic conditions. The plants are of medium height, with a 1000-seed mass of about 4.0 g, possess medium foliage and resistance to lodging and shattering, which contributes to stable yields and ease of harvesting.

The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 94 to 110 days, classifying it as mid-season. SIBIRSKY is distinguished by early-to-mid flowering time and medium drought tolerance. Seed yield in the West Siberian region reaches 14.1 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard by 1.6 centners per hectare, while dry matter yield is 23.8 centners per hectare. Oil content is within the range of 44.7-47%, with high fat and protein content (about 22.8%), making the variety attractive for the oilseed industry and feed production.

The oil obtained from the seeds of the SIBIRSKY variety is characterized by a favorable fatty acid composition: high oleic acid content (62.8%) and linoleic acid (20.8%), with minimal erucic acid content (0.2%), which improves the quality and safety of the product. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Western and Eastern Siberia regions, including the Republics of Khakassia and Tuva, and Krasnoyarsk Krai, where it demonstrates good adaptation and stable productivity.
