Canyon

Canyon is a combined systemic fungicide designed to protect rapeseed from various fungal diseases. The active ingredients of the product — azoxystrobin (200 g/l) and cyproconazole (80 g/l) — provide effective suppression of pathogens by disrupting fungal cell respiration and inhibiting ergosterol synthesis. The product is applied during the bud and flowering stages of rapeseed with a dosage rate of 0.75–1 L/ha, protecting plants from diseases such as phomopsis, alternaria, white and gray mold, and downy mildew. The fungicide is compatible with most pesticides, facilitating its use in integrated plant protection systems.

Rapeseed, to which Canyon is applied, belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is characterized by a strong root system penetrating to a depth of up to 3 meters, with the main root mass located at 25–40 cm depth. The vegetative period of winter rapeseed lasts approximately 295–300 days, beginning in spring with active growth and budding, then transitioning into the flowering stage. The plant forms an upright branched stem 150–180 cm tall with yellow flowers that open gradually. The rapeseed pod is a narrow pod 6–15 cm long, containing 35–40 dark-colored seeds. Seeds are sown at a depth of 2–3 cm with a seeding rate of 5–7 kg per hundred square meters depending on the sowing method.

Application of the fungicide Canyon in rapeseed cultivation technology enhances the crop's resistance to fungal diseases, which is especially important for maintaining yield and product quality. Effective disease control minimizes losses and improves the oil content of seeds. Using the product at optimal times and in accordance with recommended dosage rates ensures reliable plant protection during their most vulnerable growth stages.
