The hybrid winter rape Arizona is a high-yielding, medium-early type 00 (erucic acid-free) variety developed by Limagrain and registered in several countries, including Ukraine. It is characterized by high thousand-grain weight and high oil content in seeds — from 47 to 50%. Rape Arizona exhibits high initial growth energy and good development in the autumn period, which contributes to effective water use in dry conditions and the formation of high yields with potential up to 70 c/ha. Plants have medium height and strong stems, ensuring resistance to lodging. The hybrid shows high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. It demonstrates excellent winter hardiness and drought tolerance, as well as tolerance to diseases such as white mold, fusarium, and mold, with resistance ratings on the scale from 1 to 9 at level 8 and above. Additionally, the pods of rape Arizona are genetically resistant to cracking, which reduces yield losses and improves seed quality. The content of glucosinolates in the seeds is less than 15 mmol/kg, and the content of erucic acid is zero, making the product safe and high-quality for processing. Recommended sowing dates for the hybrid Arizona are medium-early and late, with a seeding rate of about 500 thousand seeds per hectare. Spring vegetation renewal occurs in medium-early periods, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to climatic conditions and ensure stable yields.
