The hybrid sunflower Recolt is a mid-early variety with a vegetative period of 110-112 days, developed jointly by French and Ukrainian breeders. It is characterized by high yield up to 52 centners per hectare and high oil content in seeds — 48-50%. Plants reach a height of up to 175 cm, and the flower head diameter is about 25 cm. The hybrid features thick stems and a strong root system, ensuring resistance to lodging and stable growth even under adverse conditions. Recolt is specially adapted for cultivation under Granstar (Express Sun, Sumo) technology with single herbicide application at a rate of 50 g/ha. It demonstrates high initial growth energy and responds well to both conventional and minimal soil tillage. Due to its high drought tolerance and resistance to stress factors, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine, including areas with varying climatic conditions. The hybrid has high resistance to diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, and is resistant to six prevalent races of the nematode (A-F). Seeds in the flower head do not shed upon maturity, facilitating harvest and reducing yield loss. Uniform flowering and ripening make Recolt a reliable choice for intensive cultivation on fertile soils.
