Description Mercury
The hybrid sunflower Mercury OR is a classic Ukrainian variety characterized by high yield and resistance to various adverse factors. It features a strong root system, ensuring stable growth and development even under drought conditions. Due to its adaptability, this hybrid is recommended for cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine, including various climatic zones.

Mercury OR exhibits high resistance to sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, white mold, sclerotinia, as well as to 6 strains of Sclerotinia and downy mildew. Additionally, it is resistant to lodging, shattering, and damage from strong winds, which contributes to maintaining yield and improving its quality. Protection of seeds and seedlings from fungi and pests further enhances the reliability of the hybrid.

The hybrid's yield reaches 4.5–5 tons per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 49% to 52%. Seeds have a large diameter and are offered in two fractions — standard and extra. The recommended planting density varies from 50,000 to 70,000 plants per hectare depending on growing conditions. All these characteristics make Mercury OR an attractive choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable sunflower yields.
