Sunflower seeds LG 50455 KLP are an early hybrid developed by the company "Limagrain" and intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. This hybrid belongs to the early maturity group and is characterized by a medium-height form with plant height around 153 cm. The thousand-seed weight is 73 grams, and the head diameter reaches 17 cm, which contributes to high yields when proper agronomic practices are followed.

One of the key features of LG 50455 KLP is its high resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lightning Plus and the Clearfield Plus production system, which simplifies weed control and enhances cultivation efficiency. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to various diseases, including downy mildew, fusarium, and false powdery mildew, as well as lodging. Thanks to these qualities and drought resistance, the seeds show stable high yields across different regions of the country.

LG 50455 KLP has a high oil content — 49-50% — making it attractive for oilseed production. Early maturation allows timely field clearance and utilization for winter wheat sowing. To achieve maximum yield potential, fertilizers, micronutrients, and growth stimulants should be applied during the vegetation period. Sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and up to 55 thousand under adequate moisture.
