Medium-late hybrid of sharp, bulbous onion for long-day conditions, vegetation period 115-125 days, outer scale color golden-bronze-brown, onion retains its market qualities even during very long storage. Bulb is round and slightly flattened at the poles. Universal use. Grown both for industrial processing and fresh consumption; bulb size can be easily controlled by plant density and agronomic practices. Highly adaptable hybrid. Noted for high growth energy during early development stages. Responds well to fertilizer application; rapid vegetative growth allows formation of a strong plant before head formation begins.
