Description Lemma
White cabbage Lemma F1 — an early Dutch hybrid with a vegetation period of 48-52 days from transplanting. This variety is characterized by vigorous growth and a strong leaf canopy, which forms quickly and is covered with a waxy coating providing additional protection. The heads are round, dense, weighing from 1 to 2 kg, and do not form a conical shape under any growing conditions.

Lemma F1 is intended for cultivation in open ground, primarily in early spring, as well as under cover, which allows for earlier harvest ripening. The plant has reduced susceptibility to powdery mildew and high resistance to downy mildew, significantly reducing disease risks and enhancing harvest reliability. The planting rate is 40-60 thousand plants per hectare.

The heads of Lemma F1 cabbage are distinguished by prolonged retention of both marketable and flavor qualities, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, and market sales. Head weight ranges from 1.2 to 1.8 kg, and harvesting can be conducted over a two-week period, providing flexibility in product marketing. The breeder of this variety is the company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands.
