Coronet

Coronet F1 cabbage is a hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Japanese breeding company Sakata. The maturation period is 110-120 days, making this hybrid one of the fastest-maturing among cabbage varieties intended for long-term storage. Heads are round, light green in color, and weigh between 2.0-4.5 kg. The head structure is dense and light, ensuring good transportability without loss of quality, as well as long-term storage for 5-7 months without degradation.

The Coronet hybrid is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, including heat, drought, and low temperatures. It is resistant to field diseases such as fusarium and internal leaf necrosis, and tolerant to pests such as thrips. Its robust root system and ability to continue developing under low humidity and high temperatures make this hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation across different regions of Ukraine, both in open ground and under plastic coverings.

Coronet cabbage is versatile in use: suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The recommended planting density is 30,000 to 40,000 plants per hectare, which contributes to higher yields. Thanks to its qualities and resilience, this hybrid ensures a stable and high yield, making it a profitable and convenient choice for farmers.
