Admiral

Advanced pest control for orchards and vineyards

When managing orchards, dealing with stubborn pests like scale insects and whiteflies requires a sophisticated approach. It doesn't just kill on contact; it disrupts the life cycle of pests, ensuring long-term protection.

Field performance and application

As a grower, the ease of handling is just as important as the efficacy. Being an emulsifiable concentrate, «Admiral» mixes well and provides consistent coverage across the canopy of apple trees, pear trees, and grapevines. Here are the key takeaways for effective management:

• Application Strategy: The rate of 0.5–1.0 L/ha provides excellent coverage.
• Action Type: It acts as a chitin synthesis inhibitor, which is incredibly effective against the younger larval stages of scale insects.
• Efficiency: With a requirement of only one treatment per season, it fits perfectly into an integrated pest management program.

Always keep in mind the 30-day pre-harvest interval when planning your spray schedule. Given its safety classification (Class 3), standard field precautions are sufficient. The use of «Admiral» significantly improves fruit quality by preventing the damage typically caused by scale and whitefly infestations, which is a major factor in ensuring premium market prices.
