VITALIGHT is a selective post-emergence herbicide from the "Agrochemical Factory" (Cherkasy, Ukraine), specifically engineered for sunflower production systems resistant to imidazolinones (Clearfield technology). The product is formulated as a water-soluble concentrate that acts systemically, translocating through the leaf surface and root system of weeds.

Chemical synergy of active ingredients

The efficacy of VITALIGHT relies on the combination of two potent imidazolinone components:

• Imazamox (33 g/L) — rapidly inhibits the biosynthesis of essential amino acids, leading to an immediate arrest of weed growth.
• Imazapir (15 g/L) — enhances the action of the first component, ensuring a prolonged effect and the elimination of even the most persistent species, including perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds.

This formulation effectively controls a wide spectrum of problem species, including common ragweed, lamb's quarters, black nightshade, quackgrass, Canadian thistle, and field bindweed. Its selective action allows the sunflower crop to continue its vegetation period while the herbicide disrupts the metabolic pathways of the weeds.

Practical application guidelines

To achieve maximum results, a single application per season is recommended at a rate of 1–1.2 L/ha. Due to its systemic nature, the active ingredients move throughout the vascular system of the weed, reaching even the hard-to-access growth points. As the product is classified under hazard class 3, operators must strictly adhere to application safety regulations to ensure uniform coverage of the leaf area.
