Mechanism and Efficacy

Impex Duo leverages a combination of imazamox and imazapyr to provide systemic action. Once absorbed by the foliage, the active ingredients move throughout the plant, effectively inhibiting the production of essential amino acids required for weed survival. Farmers utilize this herbicide to combat major yield-robbing weeds:

• Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia);
• Redroot pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus);
• Common lambsquarters (Chenopodium album);
• Field thistle;
• Broomrape (all known races).

As a selective systemic herbicide, it is designed for application during the 2–4 leaf stage of the sunflower crop. This timing is critical to eliminate competitive pressure during the early development phase of the plant.

Field Application Guidelines
