«Metamitron-star 700, SC» is a selective, systemic herbicide designed to manage a broad spectrum of dicotyledonous weeds in sugar and fodder beet fields. By targeting photosynthetic processes in weeds, the active ingredient metamitron ensures rapid suppression of competing vegetation, allowing the beet crop to thrive without early-stage competition for resources.

Practical application and strategy

This product is a post-emergence herbicide used to clean fields from weeds in their early development stages (cotyledon to two-leaf stage). Its systemic nature allows for efficient absorption through the leaves, ensuring that even under high weed pressure, the crop remains protected.

• Targets: Highly effective against common weeds such as white goosefoot (Chenopodium album), amaranth, field mustard, shepherd's purse, chickweed, purple dead-nettle, mayweed, and field pansy.
• Flexible dosing: The application rate ranges from 2 to 6 liters per hectare, depending on the weed spectrum and density.
• Multiple applications: With a capacity for up to 3 treatments per season, it allows growers to manage sequential germination waves effectively.

Product quality and formulation

The product is formulated as a suspension concentrate, which provides excellent mixing properties and ensures uniform coverage of the leaf surface. It is a joint product of the Zhejiang Zhongshan Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. (China) and the «Agrochemical Factory» in Cherkasy, Ukraine.
