“Genesis, SC” (РК in Ukrainian terminology) developed by the Cherkasy-based “Fabryka Ahrokhimikativ” is a specialized herbicide designed for sunflowers resistant to the imidazolinone group. By combining the power of imazamox and imazapyr, this product meets the essential needs of farmers for reliable protection against a wide spectrum of broadleaf and grass weeds that compete for vital nutrients and moisture.

Advanced formula targeting stubborn weeds

The strength of this herbicide lies in its systemic action. Unlike soil-applied products, “Genesis, SC” acts as a post-emergence tool: it penetrates the plant through the leaf surface and rapidly blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids. This makes it highly effective against hard-to-control species such as common ragweed, redroot pigweed, common lambsquarters, catchweed bedstraw, and field mustard. Even common barnyard grass is effectively managed when the application schedule is strictly followed.

• Selective precision: Being a selective herbicide, it effectively targets weeds while maintaining the genetic yield potential of the sunflower crop.
• Usage and dosage: The product is formulated as a water-soluble concentrate. The recommended application rate is 1–1.2 l/ha. Please note that the regulation allows for one application per season.
