Protecting beet crops: user experience with Belvedere Forte Cs

When it comes to weed control in fodder beet, there is no room for error. I have been using 'Belvedere Forte Cs' as a primary systemic herbicide for some time now, and it is a reliable tool for eliminating common weeds like white goosefoot, pigweed, and chickweed without damaging the crop. As a selective herbicide applied post-emergence, it fits perfectly into my crop management routine.

Application and Performance

The product comes as an emulsifiable concentrate, which makes it very convenient for everyday field operations. It mixes well in the tank without clogging nozzles, which saves me a lot of time during maintenance and spraying. Depending on the weed pressure, I adjust the dosage between 1 and 3 liters per hectare, with up to 3 treatments allowed per season. The best results are achieved when weeds are still in the cotyledon stage.
