Origin: The variety was created in 1974 at the Transnistrian Experimental Fruit Growing Station by selection from the local gene pool of the Greek walnut.

Registered in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 1995.
Noted for its weak growth.
Tree — canopy diameter of 8-9 meters.
Disease sensitivity — low.
Flowering: occurs in mid-May. Flowering type — protogynous.
Fruit production: fruiting type — lateral. Average yield from a pistillate tree, at about 35 years of age, is 30-35 kg.
Fruits: egg-shaped, medium size, weighing 10.9-11.8 grams. Harvesting maturity occurs at the end of September.
Shell: thin — 1.0-1.1 mm, almost smooth, easily splits.
Kernel: constitutes 50.0-53.0% of fruit mass, very light-colored, good taste, easily removed whole. Contains: fats — 68.2-70.7%, proteins — 12.0-15.7%, sugars — 7.9-11.7%.
