Origin: developed in 1991 at the Transnistrian Fruit Growing Experimental Station by selecting from the local genetic pool of the Greek walnut.

Registered in the Ukrainian Plant Variety Register in 1997.
Noted for early fruiting, high fruit quality, and resistance to diseases affecting fruits and leaves. Tree height: medium.
Disease sensitivity: low.
Flowering: occurs at the beginning of May. Flowering type: protogynous.
Fruit production: lateral fruiting pattern. Fruit formation begins from the 2nd to 3rd year after planting. Yield at the onset of fruiting (13 years after planting) is 14 kg per tree.
Fruits: round, slightly pointed at the apex, medium size, weighing 10.6–12.8 grams. Harvest maturity occurs at the end of the second decade of September.
Shell: thin — 0.9 mm, nearly smooth, easily crushed.
Kernel: constitutes 50.7–54.6% of fruit mass, light-colored, easily removed, good taste. Contains: fats — 68.4–70.8%, proteins — 15.9–16.9%, sugars — 7.0–9.4%.
